The first running of the cabin 34 Roubaix was a very memorable affair. We got girled! The race started under a blue sky with light winds. The pack rolled out slowly and socialized while Buggie and Jen went out on the attack. We joked around in the pack and figured we would just let them dangle off the front of the group. By the time we got done with all the social commentary the breakaway was no where to be seen. The chase was now on! Then, mechanicals started in the peleton. Bill was struck first and then Jack flatted, twice, on one of the pave' sections of the course. Meanwhile, Buggie was hammering up the first rollers with Jenn. The pack kinda fell apart so I started to bridge up to the attackers. I could see buggie in the distance and gradually reeled him in, but Jenn stayed off the front for good! Congrats!
