He sat out of racing for 3 years when he should have given back to the team that served him for seven years. b The 1992 Tour de France was one of my favorites. There were 4 former Tour winners riding, arguably, as domestics for their captains. Laurent Fignon, Stephen Roche, Pedro Delgado, and Lemond were all there giving back to their teams. And what did Lance do? He chased celebrity ass around for three years--classy.
